Welcome. If you found this site it's probably because you know or have a child with a disability who currently receives special education services at school or who may need services. You may be looking for more information or you may feel frustrated and are looking to hire a lawyer.
I have represented the parents of children with disabilities in special education cases for over ten years. I got started in special education law because my child has a learning disability. He was not getting the proper services at school and I had to learn the hard way how to negotiate the system.
This website contains partial information about special education and the law. While it does not include all you need to know, it does provide basic information and links to websites where you can get additional information. Whether you are an educator, lawyer, or parent, my hope is that in these pages you will find encouragement and information to help realize your child’s true potential.
